Union Bourbon Trail Trip

Union members joined UFCW Local 1059 from Monday, August 24 to Wednesday, August 26 for the union's first bus trip since the pandemic. For just $350 each, members and their guests went on a 3-day trip to Kentucky to visit union distilleries. Hotel rooms, three meals, tours & bourbon tastings, bus travel, and all gratuities were included. Members visited distilleries under UFCW contracts, such as Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Evan Williams, and Buffalo Trace.  

Each stop included a tour of the distillery along with a tasting of that location's various bourbons. Ample time was provided at each stop to allow for purchase of souvenirs and bottles at each gift shop.
